What is particularly impressive is the fact that 76% of solo travelers consider safety to be the deciding factor. Chiang Mai boasts a daytime safety rating of 93 and a nighttime safety rating of 81, making the city the safest destination for solo travelers in Asia. The cozy ambience is accompanied by average temperatures of around 29°C, making the city a welcoming place all year round for those looking for new adventures. Meanwhile, public transport in Chiang Mai costs £0.69 per journey and a beer costs £1.66.
Phuket – The paradise for solo travelers
Phuket, on the other hand, offers a balanced mix of relaxed beach life and strong infrastructure designed specifically for independent travelers.
