Mysterious death in Patong: Man with lawnmower dies under mysterious circumstances

Tragic events rocked the Patong community after police found a 66-year-old man dead on November 3. Satcha Sae Jeew was discovered next to a shed with a lawn mower in her right hand and injuries to her neck and face. The incident occurred on Soi Som Kwai Yai and was reported to police at 8:50 p.m. after Satcha's wife was unable to reach her husband and informed her younger brother, Suthep Sae Jeew.

By the time the officers and rescue workers from the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation arrived, it was already too late. Suthep found Satcha lifeless and immediately called the police. The body was then taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital where a full forensic autopsy will be carried out. The police officer in charge said that the circumstances of the death are considered suspicious and it is currently being investigated whether the injuries were caused by an unfortunate lawnmower incident or by a crime.
