EDC Thailand 2026: Return of the mega festival to Phuket!

On January 7, 2026 it was announced that the EDC Thailand 2026, one of the largest electronic music festivals, returns to Phuket. Organized by Future Vibes (Thailand) in cooperation with US entertainment giant Insomniac, the event is scheduled to take place from January 16th to 18th, 2026 at Rhythm Park. With the motto “Bigger, Brighter, and More Immersive Than Ever,” the organizers are aiming for an even more immersive experience than ever before.

The return was formally announced with a press conference at The Title Sales Gallery in Bang Tao. Among those present were notable personalities such as Nirat Phongsittivorakul, Governor of Phuket, and Pol. Lt. Gen. Sinlert Sukhum, Phuket Police Chief. Justin Spagg, Senior Vice President of Insomniac and Drong Huta Jutha, CEO of Rompho Property Public Company Limited were also on hand to share the excitement of the upcoming event.

A festival of superlatives

This year, EDC Thailand will have expanded areas and an extensive program. Planned stages such as the kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS and the newly designed boombox stage promise visitors an unforgettable time. Additionally, there will be a Downtown EDC area that highlights the cultural aspects of the festival. Here you could, among other things, get married in the Wedding Chapel or try out the karaoke battle.

The supporting program is also impressive: visitors can explore art installations along the festival and try their luck in the Kandi Casino. The festival represents a significant event for the region, with the aim of establishing Phuket as an international center for music and events.
