Phuket is currently a busy place! The 74th edition of the Miss Universe competition began on October 21, 2025 and will run until November 21. During this exciting time, 120 participants from 120 different countries compete against each other. The event has the motto "The Grand Universe: The Power of Love. The Power of Thailand" and is intended not only to celebrate the beauty of the participants, but also to bring Thai culture to the fore. The event is organized by Miss Grand International Co., Ltd. (MGI), while Thai Vietjet Airlines serves as a proud supporter.
The girls have the opportunity to experience the beautiful nature, delicious cuisine and rich culture of Thailand up close. The participants are accommodated at the Kora Beach Resort Phuket, where they can relax and enjoy their time. The first day traditionally started with a delicious Thai meal in the “Tu Kab Khao” restaurant, which is sure to spark a lot of conversation.
Cultural journey of discovery
The event spans multiple locations including Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya in Chonburi. The goal is clear: to promote tourism and improve Thailand's international image through a creative economy.
