The real estate developer Sansiri recently released its impressive 2025 sales figures. The company was able to generate over 1,000 million baht from the sale of condominiums alone. A particularly successful project star was “dcondo reef”, which was already sold out by the end of the year and is a real highlight of the market.
Particularly noteworthy are the projects “CANVAS Cherngtalay” and “THE BASE Cherngtalay”, which also have great sales figures. “THE BASE Cherngtalay” is already 90% sold. What is driving this upswing? Phuket is now considered one of the most promising real estate markets in Southeast Asia, which is reflected in the consistently high demand.
Growing interest from international buyers
What is the reason for the continued demand? A key factor is improving the infrastructure. The expansion of the international airport and new highway projects are attracting more and more foreign buyers, who are often looking for a second home. This development results in an occupancy rate of 80 to 90 percent during the high season, which runs from November to April.
The rental yield for condominiums in Phuket is also notable, which is between 8 and 9 percent per year. This makes the island an attractive destination for investors and buyers alike. Sansiri's strategy of focusing on long-term housing has therefore proven to be spot on and could prove to be a driver for long-term economic growth.
Innovations and new projects
Sansiri already has big plans for 2026. The new project “RHEA by Sansiri” is in the starting blocks, with a project value of 1,500 million baht, which is to be realized near the popular Surin Beach. Prices for the apartments start from 3.99 million baht, with a variety of apartment sizes and amenities on offer.
