In total, 93 countries will have the opportunity to enter for 60 days without a visa, while 31 countries will have the option for a Visa on Arrival (VOA). Easier travel through digital solutions
A significant part of the reforms is the introduction of an e-Visa system, which will be available at all 94 Thai embassies and consulates worldwide from January 1, 2025. Travelers can apply for their visas online, reducing long waiting times and bureaucratic hurdles. Furthermore, the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) will be introduced in May 2025, which will enable simplified entry.
