New wellness paradise: divana opens Anda Spa in Phuket!

On November 4, 2025, divana Anda Spa in Phuket celebrated its official opening, a significant step for divana as it positions itself as a pioneer in holistic health in Thailand and Asia. The new facility aims to transform individual healthcare into an accessible healthcare community under the motto “From Spa to Wellness Community”. The celebration was attended by prominent company officials, including CEO Patthanapong Ranurak and head of marketing Thanet Jirasawadilok. Ranurak explained that the spa brings together a holistic concept that includes spa experiences, retail, workshops and community projects.

The opening of Anda Spa follows a successful launch of the Wellness Community concept in Bangkok in September 2025. With this approach, divana aims to establish Thailand as the leading wellness center in Asia. At the opening event, visitors were treated to various wellness experiences. These included activities such as the Scent Station Ritual, a Really Food Workshop, Yin Yoga, Pranayama Breathwork, Sound Healing and Nature Therapy.

A new wellness concept

The activities offered were based on the concept of the 7 senses - i.e. sight, taste, smell, hearing, touch, mind and imagination. Ranurak pointed out the challenges that modern people face, especially when it comes to stress and insomnia. He stressed that it is more important than ever to address these issues through communities of solidarity.

divana's target group, who describe themselves as “Wellness Seekers”, are looking for a better lifestyle and sustainability in their health journey. To ensure long-term success, divana follows the concept of longevity, which has existed since divana Nurture Spa opened 12 years ago. At divana, longevity is not just understood as a long life, but as a life full of meaning and well-being in all phases of life.

Growth of the wellness economy in Thailand

The opening of divana Anda Spa comes at a time when Thailand has the potential to become a leading country in the global wellness economy. The industry is currently valued at approximately $40.5 billion. To further promote this sector, the government has launched various initiatives. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra highlighted the wellness economy as a policy focus that can significantly contribute to driving economic growth in her first address to Parliament.

Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin introduced the “Wellness Business and Beyond” training program to strengthen cooperation in the field of healthcare. If all strategies are successfully implemented, Thailand could become a global medical and wellness center through its world-class hospitals, internationally recognized professionals and competitive healthcare costs.

Overall, the opening of divana Anda Spa in Phuket shows how much the wellness industry is on the rise in Thailand and how divana is committed to making the principles of holistic health accessible to everyone. With a clear focus on community and individual health, the company sets the benchmark for the future of wellness in Asia.
